When is the Honors Convocation?

The 43rd annual Honors Convocation of the University of Pittsburgh is being held on Friday, February 22, 2019 at 3 p.m.

Where will the Convocation be held?

It will held at the Carnegie Music Hall, 4400 Forbes Avenue, in the Oakland section of Pittsburgh, directly adjacent to the Pitt campus. A reception for all honorees will follow immediately afterward in the Commons Room of the Cathedral of Learning, 4200 Fifth Avenue (across Fifth Avenue from the Carnegie Music Hall).

Are tickets required to attend the ceremony?

The ceremony is open to the public, and families of those students and faculty being honored are welcome. No tickets are necessary, and families are invited to join honorees at the reception afterwards.

What award did I receive?

How do I get to the ceremony?

Directions to the University of Pittsburgh can be found on Pitt's Campus Tour site. Use the map at right to locate the Carnegie Music Hall (part of the Carnegie Complex) and the Cathedral of Learning.  

Where can I park?

Paid parking is available at the Carnegie Complex, at the metered spaces around Schenley Plaza, in the Soldiers & Sailors Garage, and at various University-operated garages.
